Huge disappointment this morning. Thought it would be fun to try a new grab-n-go breakfast. VitaMuffin VitaTops. I tried the Deep Chocolate flavor; not "vitalicious" at all. Inconsistent texture; kinda dry and at the same time sticky on the outside. Not at all what I was hoping for. And now I have 3 left. Maybe a different flavor would have been better?
I couldn't finish the VitaTop, so I sliced up a fresh fig and ate that since I'm sure my smoothie (strawberries, mango, pineapple & coconut water) won't hold me until lunch. I'm really looking forward to leftovers from dinner: yellow squash enchilada with homemade roasted tomatillo sauce, sliced avacado, chopped tomato, and black beans.
Isn't this fig pretty?
When I finally move from an apartment to a house I'd like to have a fig tree. Maybe a whole orchard (er, grove?) of them!
Goodbye for now; I'll be daydreaming of fruit trees.
